Regional Board of Directors 

The Southwest Affiliate of College and University Residence Halls (SWACURH) is led by a number of student leaders across the MALTO Region. These individuals directly oversee and manage several initiatives promoting our values of service, recognition, advocacy, and community. These individuals are: 

 

Regional Director: Genevieve Snider

Genevieve Snider (she/they) is SWACURH's Regional Director. As our Regional Director, Genevieve oversees the Regional Board of Directors, leads institutional recruitment, and facilitates biweekly regional chats. Genevieve is hosted at Texas A&M University, and previously served as its NRHH President. On the regional level, Genevieve has served as the Coordinating Officer for Recognition and Service (now, the COLS) and the Associate Director for NRHH. We're lucky to have them lead our region - thank you, Genevieve!

Associate Director of Administration and Finance (ADAF): Vacant

This position is currently vacant. We look forward to meeting our new financial duck very soon!

Associate Director of NRHH (ADNRHH): Riddhi Patel 

Riddhi Patel (she/her) is SWACURH's Associate Director for NRHH. As our ADNRHH, Riddhi oversees the OTM Selection Committee, facilitates the chapter creation process, and brainstorms new regional service initiatives. Riddhi is hosted at Texas Tech University in Lubbock, Texas. On the regional level, Riddhi has previously served as the Coordinating Officer for Marketing and Technology. Thank you, Riddhi, for all of your efforts in promoting service and recognition on the regional level!

Coordinating Officer for Presidential Relations (COPR): Alex Garza

Alex Garza (she/hers) is SWACURH's Coordinating Officer for Presidential Relations. As our COPR, Alex creates resources for RHA Presidents to use at their home institutions and leads biweekly president chats. Alex is the RHA President at her home institution - Texas Women's University - and will no doubt leave a large impact on the region. Thank you for all you do, Alex!

Coordinating Officer for Leadership & Service (COLS): Adam Marquez

Adam Marquez (he/him) is SWACURH's Coordinating Officer for Leadership & Service. As our COLS, Adam creates resources for NRHH representatives to use at their home institutions and leads biweekly NRHH chats. At his home institution - the University of Texas at Austin - Adam serves as the VP&NRHH Representative. We're excited to see your impact on the region, Adam!

Coordinating Officer for Bidding & NCC Support (COBN): Raiyne Brant

Raiyne Brant (she/her) is SWACURH's Coordinating Officer for Bidding & NCC Support. As our COBN, Raiyne assists our National Communication Coordinators (NCC) and National Communication Coordinators In Training (NCC-ITs) in navigating the bidding process. At her home institution, Raiyne serves on the executive board of the Centenary College of Louisiana's Residence Hall Association. We're thankful to have you, Raiyne!

Coordinating Officer for Marketing & Technology (COMT): Kaitlyn Marsh

Kaitlyn Marsh (she/her) is SWACURH's Coordinating Officer for Marketing & Technology. As our COMT, Kaitlyn updates the SWACURH website, manages our social media, and oversees our spirit point processes. At her home institution - the University of Texas at Austin - Kaitlyn serves as UT's University Residence Hall Association President. Thanks for all your hard work, Kaitlyn!

Regional Advisor: Katherine Shamburger

Katherine Shamburger (she/her) is SWACURH's Regional Advisor. As our Regional Advisor, Katherine connects with the Regional Board of Directors and assists them with navigating logistics. At the Centenary College of Louisiana, Katherine serves as the RHA Advisor, and has had a huge impact on their campus. We're excited to have her assistance in leading the region - thank you, Katherine!
