Regional Board of Directors
The Southwest Affiliate of College and University Residence Halls (SWACURH) is led by a number of student leaders across the Southwest Region. These individuals directly oversee and manage several initiatives promoting our values of service, recognition, advocacy, and community. These individuals are:
Regional Director: Cody Cox
Cody Cox (he/him) is SWACURH's Regional Director. As our Regional Director, Cody oversees the Regional Board of Directors & regional initiatives, leads institutional recruitment, and facilitates biweekly regional chats. Cody is hosted at Texas A&M University.

Associate Director of Administration and Finance (ADAF): Alisa Normand
Alisa Normand (she/her) is SWACURH's ADAF. As our ADAF, Alisa is responsible for overseeing the region's fiscal operations, managing annual budgets, processing school affiliation dues, and handling administrative and legislative work. At her university, Alisa serves on the RHA Executive Board as their NCC. Alisa attends the University of Louisiana at Lafayette!

Associate Director of NRHH (ADNRHH): Sebastian Romero Mendoza
Sebastian Romero Mendoza (he/him) is SWACURH's ADNRHH. As our ADNRHH, Sebastian oversees our OTM Selection Committee, and works towards the promotion of NRHH's values of service and recognition within the region. Sebastian attends Texas A&M University and serves as the President for his institution's NRHH Chapter!

Coordinating Officer for Presidential Relations (COPR): Cinthya Proye
Cinthya Proye (she/her) is SWACURH's Coordinating Officer for Presidential Relations. As our COPR, Cinthya creates resources for RHA Presidents to use at their home institutions and leads biweekly president chats. Cinthya's host institution is Texas Tech University where she serves as Vice President of Administration and Finance.

Coordinating Officer for Leadership & Service (COLS): Grace Herpin
Grace Herpin (she/her) is SWACURH's Coordinating Officer for Leadership & Service. As our COLS, Grace creates resources for NRHH representatives to use at their home institutions and leads biweekly NRHH chats. Grace's host institution is the Centenary College of Louisiana.

Coordinating Officer for Bidding & NCC Support (COBN): Hazel Davis
Hazel Davis (she/her) is SWACURH's Coordinating Officer for Bidding & NCC Support. As our COBN, Hazel assists our National Communication Coordinators (NCCs) and National Communication Coordinators In Training (NCC-ITs) in navigating the bidding process. At her home institution, Hazel serves on the RHA Executive Board as the President. Hazel's host institution is Texas Woman's University.

Coordinating Officer for Marketing & Technology (COMT): Jason Starks
Jason Starks (he/him) is SWACURH's Coordinating Officer for Marketing & Technology. As our COMT, Jason updates the SWACURH website, manages our social media, and oversees our spirit point processes. At his home institution - Texas A&M University - Jason serves on the RHA Executive Board as a Co-Chair of Community Development.

Conference Chair: Adam Marquez
Adam Marquez (he/him) is SWACURH's Conference Chair. As our Conference Chair, he will be in in charge of planning and finding a hosting site for our upcoming regional conferences. Adam's host institution is the University of Texas at Austin.

Regional Advisor: Katherine Shamburger
Katherine Shamburger (she/her) is SWACURH's Regional Advisor. As our Regional Advisor, Katherine connects with the Regional Board of Directors and assists them with navigating logistics. At the Centenary College of Louisiana, Katherine serves as the RHA Advisor and NRHH Advisor, and has had a huge impact on their campus. We're excited to have her assistance in leading the region - thank you, Katherine!

Regional NRHH Advisor: Karina Ogunlana
Karina Ogunlana (she/her/ella) is SWACURH's Regional NRHH Advisor. As our Regional NRHH Advisor, Karina provides support to the Regional Board of Directors and affiliated universities' NRHH chapters. Karina's host institution is the University of Texas at Austin. There, she serves as the RHA and NRHH advisor and as a resource to the Residence Hall Council advisors. We're excited to have her support in leading the region - thank you, Karina!
